The following are the courier delivery standards you need to abide by when you are delivering with Tyltgo. If you breach any of these standards, there will be penalties imposed upon you. For more details, read What happens if I breach a delivery standard?
Be respectful to everyone
To make sure each merchant/customer/ and fellow courier feels appreciated and valued. No smoking/vaping, and proper attire (clean top, pants, shoes, and no offensive images, symbols. or language displayed) must be worn throughout pickup and drop-offs.
*If you have any questions or concerns, ask us first NOT the business.
We do not allow sharing of courier accounts. Another courier using your account poses a serious safety concern. If we learn that a courier driving did not match the profile displayed on the Tyltgo courier app, the account will be immediately suspended or reviewed for a warning.
Arrive at the pickup location at the specified pickup time
The pickup time for your route can be found on the Tyltgo courier app. Show up 5 mins before your pickup time to ensure you have enough time to park and enter the pickup location. Any late pickups will be penalized.
Handle packages with care
Always place packages with the Tyltgo label facing up. Packages contain fragile products and are susceptible to spillage/breakage if handled and placed incorrectly. Contact Tyltgo dispatchers if you find any damaged packages as soon as possible.
*Any damages or lost products caused by negligence will be deducted from your next payout.
Here is an example of how to handle packages with care, with the Tyltgo label facing up:
Deliver to the correct address
Before you drop off a package, make sure that the address on the label matches the address you arrived at. Always double-check the apartment or house number on the door before attempting the delivery.
Show clear proof of delivery
The Tyltgo courier app will ask you to take a photo of every completed delivery. Please take a photo that clearly includes both the package and the apartment or house number. To see some examples, please see photo examples.
Accepted routes must be cancelled with 12 hours' notice
If you would like to cancel a route you’ve accepted, you must notify Tyltgo support 12 hours ahead of its pickup time. We understand emergencies happen so we allow couriers three late cancellations but after this, you will receive a warning and suspension from our platform. The route that you have accepted on the Tyltgo Courier app is the final payment.
Deliver in the order displayed on the app
Unless explicitly told by Tyltgo dispatchers, please deliver packages in the order displayed on the Tyltgo courier app. Merchants rely on this to track each package, and customers rely on this to receive messages throughout the day regarding when and where their packages are delivered.
Complete your full route once packages are picked up
You will need to attempt to deliver every single package successfully.
Return undelivered packages per the merchant standards *
If some packages need to be brought back, the address of the return will be specified by Tyltgo dispatchers. You will be compensated in full for the return.
Return reusable bags per the merchant standards *
For deliveries with certain merchants, their customers will leave their reusable bags or containers outside their door from a previous order. Unless specified otherwise from Tyltgo dispatchers, you need to collect and return the reusable bags or containers at the end of the route to the address specified.
